Erin Phillips

My research interests are Missippian art and archaeology.  I am currently working on a stylistic analysis of Hemphill style engraved representational art on pottery from the Moundville Chiefdom (A.D. 1300-1450) in the Black Warrior River Valley.

This semester I am a TA for Language and Culture (ANT 210).  In past semesters I have been a TA for Intro to Anthropology (ANT 100), Intro to Cultural Anthropology (ANT 102), and Intro to Physical Anthropology (ANT 270).
