Description

This course considers the religious experiences of women around the world as represented in the writings of contemporary authors. We will explore the intersections of religiosity, sexuality, and creativity with particular emphasis upon the relationship between female identity and the religious beliefs and rituals portrayed in works of film, literature, and criticism.
